Welcome to the competitive side of Capital Area Aquatics, where young swimmers transform into accomplished athletes through our year-round USA Swimming program. Our competitive team offers a proven pathway from ages five through high school, with four progressive training groups: Bronze Plus, Silver Plus, Gold Plus, and National each designed to nurture swimmers for success in competition and in life. Unlike our fitness programs that emphasize health and enjoyment without competitive pressure, our competitive team prepares swimmers for any level of swimming. With our unique coaching model where the head coach directly trains each group, swimmers benefit from consistent, high-quality instruction throughout their entire competitive journey, building the technical foundation and racing skills needed to excel at every level of the sport.
