Do you want to get a head start on the summer league competition? Capital Area Aquatics can help. CAA is offering one five-week session that will introduce stroke techniques for the four strokes to improve your developing swimmer. In addition, we will teach streamlining technique, the dive, and the proper way to finish a race. CAA has fun and experienced coaches who look forward to sharing their passion for swimming. DATES: March 23 - April 23, 2026 (five weeks) Monday - Thursday AGES: Aqua Discoverers: Ages 4-7 Aqua Explorers: Ages 7-10 Aqua Achievers: Ages 10-17 PRACTICE TIMES: Aqua Discoverers: 4:30-5:00 PM Aqua Explorers: 5:00-5:30 PM Aqua Achievers: 5:30-6:15 PM COST: Aqua Discoverers: $120 Aqua Explorers: $120 Aqua Achievers: $150

CLASS PREREQUISITES:
Aqua Discoverers, Ages 4-7 (30 minutes) Will wear goggles Independent water entry Comfortable getting into the water without parent Follows group directions Able to participate in a group (without 1 on 1 attention) Comfortable putting face in the water Can float on front unassisted for 3+ seconds Can float on back unassisted for 3+ seconds Comfortable going under water (Does not hold nose) Aqua Explorers, Ages 7-10 (30 minutes) Everything listed above Plus able to comfortably swim 25m in at least 2 strokes Aqua Achievers, Ages 10-17 (45 minutes) Everything listed above Plus has swim experience in all 4 strokes (does not have to be legal)
