Time Standards

Qualification time standards are set by the various governing bodies that come under the umbrella of USA Swimming. Championship meets require swimmers meet or exceed these standards.

Times for 2021-2022 season championship meets are posted below.

2021-2024 National Age Group Motivational Times (B, BB, A, etc. by age/gender for short course yards on pages 5-6, short course meters on pages 3-4, and long course meters on pages 1-2). Look up your swimmer's age, gender, and swimming course to find the time standard for each event. From August to March/April we are swimming in short course yards pools. In the summer we are swimming in long course meters pool. Be sure to look at the time standards for the correct swimming course.

STAGS times standards for the 2023 championship meets will be A and faster times by age group and gender, according to the National Age Group Motivational Time standards.
