The Lakeway pool closes when there is lightning within 15 miles of the pool. If this occurs during practice, I will immediately cancel the current group’s practice, post the cancellation in the team feed on the CAA website, and email a notification to the affected training group/s.
If a storm is moving into the area prior to the start of practice, I will make a decision on whether to cancel 30 minutes prior to the starting time. I will post the cancellation to the team feed on the CAA website and email all affected training groups. If you do not receive an email notification or see a cancellation notice on the website 30 minutes prior to the start of your group’s practice, assume that it is on as scheduled.
